ABOUT
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a public research university located in the city of Pune, Maharashtra. It was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 2006 with an aim to promote quality education and research in basic sciences. IISER offers integrated 5-year BS-MS dual degree programs as well as PhD programs across various disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Earth & Climate Sciences. The institute also provides several outreach activities for students from all backgrounds including seminars, workshops and conferences on science topics.
