ABOUT

Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Technology (BVIT) is a premier engineering institute in Pune, Maharashtra. It was established in 1983 as the first private engineering college in India. BVIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various fields of engineering, including computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and chemical engineering.

The institute has been consistently ranked among the top 10 private engineering colleges in India. It has also been awarded the “A” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Some of the notable alumni of BVIT include Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam (former President of India), Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar (renowned scientist), and Mrinal Gore (politician).
