Teesside University has the innovation of 80yrs in academic field. The university first opened its door on 2 July, 1930 by the future King Edward VIII, Prince of Wales. The university travelled back on establishing its education system from the year 1844 but due to the lack of funding the regulatory of the campus kicked into action in year 1927 and finally passing the hurdles came into action in year 1930 by
the name Constantine Technical College.
At present it is a home to more than 28,094 students and 2,284 admin staff in highly advanced, 11 sored skyscraper building. The University's entrance is at the site of the old Constantine College building, fronted by the Waterhouse clock tower. The University includes 6 schools and 6 research centers. The University classroom occupies 100 areas for one class with a total of 1,000 classrooms. A new facility
center, Centre for Nano and Microsystem was added to its premises to apply nanotechnology and micro fabrication. Teesside University believes in following the motto Deeds not Words.

The University provides best accommodation with a well self cartered room to its national as well as
international students. It has four managed halls, houses and flat for residence. The Central library is
occupied with endless numbers of books, journals, magazines, Audio Visual media and a separate e-
learning facility.
