P S N Engineering College is a co-educational self-financing engineering college in Tamil Nadu. The institute is affiliated with Anna University. It offers various courses which provide students with a broad based curriculum that opens the doors to flexible career opportunities in the knowledge-based economy. Apart from the placement facility, students go on industrial tours, attend personality development programmes (PDP) and participate in placement related activities like extempore, mock interviews, technical tests, aptitude tests and other latest trends etc.
The institute offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Master of Engineering (M.E.) Courses in Marine engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Bio-technology, nautical Science, Automation & Robotics, along with B.Arch, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application Course (MCA).
P S N Engineering College infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities. The college has a state-of-art computer laboratory equipped with 60 P-IV nodes on LAN system with free internet access through 512 Kbps broadband facility. The classrooms/ lecture halls in the college are fully furnished. College has a well stocked library, Regular personality development workshops, regular seminars, workshops and conferences.
A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at P S N Engineering College in its various departments. Lab Oriented Innovative approaches is used in teaching and learning process to produce industry ready students resulting into best possible placements. With the help of external consultants, the institute has helped each faculty and staff member align their personal goals, even their day-today goals, with the organizational goals. The institute integrates a training and placement cell, to guide the students through recruitment process.
