Punjab College of Technical Education is affiliated to the Punjab Technical University for all of its courses. The College has also been rewarded with ISO 9001:2000 certification by the International Certification Services for its infrastructure and academic achievements. The Institute provides state-of-the-art education in the fields of engineering, and offers programs as Electronics & Communication engineering, Electrical & Electronics engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil engineering, Master of Business Administration (MBA), M.Tech in Applied electronics & communication, M.Tech Computer Science. Punjab College of Technical Education is the First Engineering College in Kerala having B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering.
The Punjab College of Technical Education is equipped with state of- the- art facilities and infrastructure to make a sound environment for students. The curriculum is supplemented by efforts like organizing seminars; add on programs, extended lectures, group discussions etc. The college has a Modern library containing more than 8000 books With 80 international and national and international journals. The library also contains some LAN connected systems for digital library access, with internet connectivity with 1mbps speed. The E-library consists of more than 5000 journals. The computer center of the institute has about 100 systems connected to the internet; these systems are available for students and faculty members. The institute also has an Aero modelling lab among other departments labs, all labs are equipped with latest facilities and are well-furnished. The Punjab College of Technical Education also accommodate hostel facility in separate complexes for boys and girls, along with sports facility and Transport facilities for Day-scholar students.
