NITS meliorate the career of the students by giving better placement opportunities to its students.

The NITS is associated with the University of Guwahati and allowable by AICTE. The colleges offer teaching in the ground of Engineering. The placement cell will organize question of the last year students with possible employers. The placement board of the Institute aids the company in the procedure and service. The board comprises of the assignment director, student placement board members, faculty members, and course director. The internet facility is also accessible. The Campus wide computer networking is working through WI-Fi. Separate hostels for boys and girls are also offered.
The college offers Bachelor degree with four years courses with different stream such as Bachelor of computer science Engineering, Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, and Bachelor of Electronics and communication Engineering. The college has a well-built, highly capable faculty in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Humanities, and Chemical Engineering, and research interest, some of them with substantial industry, and research surroundings both outside and inside of the country.
The college provides capable faculties, prepared laboratories, and other facilities like sports, library, internet, placement, research and training, healthcare, computer center. The colleges also provide hostel facilities for both boys and girls with well furnish rooms as well as pillow, mattress, and safe drinking water with UV filter, and hygienic food.
