Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology

Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology is located at Dundigal, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. The institution was started in 2005 by the KMR Education Trust headed by Mr. Marri Laxma Reddy. The college is being run by KMR educational society under the able chairmanship of Sri M Laxman Reddy. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad.
The campus consisting of 10 Acres of land and lot of build up area excluding other buildings and workshop areas is adequate enough to conduct various courses under B.Tech Program. The main building consists of well ventilated and lighted class rooms with Audio Visual aids for teaching, Laboratories, Workshops, Spacious Drawing Hall, Computer Centers, Life skill development lab, Seminar Hall, Ladies lounge, faculty room and Conference room.
The library has a carpet area of 500 Sq.Mt. The reading space
is 300 Sqm which can seat over 450 students. Library has over 3500 titles, 19000 volumes. More than 10 National and International Journals. Digital library is equipped with 30 Systems connected to dedicated Internet Server. College is fully equipped with sports facilities and is recognized by JNTUH to conduct Zonal sports. Authorized boys and girls hostel exist to cater for 100 students each. College has HDFC ATM CENTRE with in the campus. The College Conducts Alumni meet every year for the out going batches. The College also conducts two technical events in each academic year called Technonium and Zavtra.
This college has been awarded 3 times for it’s performance and Excellency in teaching. The awards received are:
Rastraprathiba Award in 2004 from ICSEP, New Delhi,
Knowledge Award from Alumni of SVHCE for the year 2001.
Bharath Jyothi Award in 2003 from IIFS, New Delhi
MLRIT was also awarded as BEST PERFORMER by IBM in 2010.
It has the best faculty members in its hand to provide prominent success in academic sector. It runs undergraduate, graduate and M.Tech courses.
