The Federal Institute of Science and Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is situated in a large lush green campus. Federal Institute of Science and Technology offers undergraduate and graduate engineering programs in five disciplines along with hosting research labs and student outreach programs. The institution has the distinction of being accredited by TCS for Campus Placement.
It has also applied for NBA (National Board of Accreditation) accreditation. Courses offered are: Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Industrial Production Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering , Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering . Facilities in the college campus are laboratories, Workshops, Computer Labs, Library & Resource Centre, and Hostel.
The Federal Institute of Science and Technology has a rich infrastructure with latest facilities. The college campus is entirely Wi-Fi enabled, and the seminar halls and class-rooms use projectors for visual aid. The institute also has facility of online guest lecturers from anywhere in the world. The College also encourages students towards participation in sports and has a sports ground for cricket, volleyball, football and lawn tennis and a common room where students can play indoor games like Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, etc.
The institute also provides a gymnasium, a bank and ATM, and a cafeteria within the college campus. The Federal Institute of Science and Technology runs a state-of-the-art placement cell for its student guiding them through the placement process and provides them placement offers and interviews via campus placements.
