Bhim Rao Ambedkar College was established after the birth of Barat Ratna  Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar. It is affiliated by the Delhi University. The college offer many courses such as BA(Hons), BA, B.com and many more. It is a co-educational institute and maintain the path of progress ever science its inception in academic and extra-curricular fields. The principal and faculty are dedicated to help and give knowledge to the students.



The admission process of the college is based on the cut off percentage announced by the University every year. Apart from the cut off list some students has to go through from All  India Written Entrance Test or interview conducted by the respective department. The college also has reservation for the students who belongs to non-general category. At present 25% seats are reserved for SC/ST category, 27% for OBC as per the University guideline, 3% for physically challenged and 5% for widow / wives of officers and men of Armed forces killed or disabled, 5% for foreign students and 5% for sports and co-curricular activities. 



The college has received many awards and achievements such as Merit Cum means scholarship by the Department of Business Studies, Govt. of N.C.T. Delhi, Merit Scholarship to students belonging to SC/ST, Babu P.N. Singh Medal for excellence in Social Service, Best Student Trophy of the Year, Shri Moti Lal Kaul Aima Memorial Scholarship for blind students and many more.



There are all the facilities that are provide to the students such as Library, Computer Lab, Seminar Hall, Banking, Medical Center, Student societies and activities, Student placement etc.
