College of Engineering Trikaripur was established in the year 2000 under the auspices of the co-operative academy of professional education (CAPE), an autonomous society under government of Kerala. College of Engineering Trikaripur is a fast growing Engineering college in north Kerala. It offers undergraduate courses, leading to the award of B.Tech degree of the Cochin University of Science And Technology. The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
The Institute offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in various departments as Computer Science & engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Information Technology. The N.S.S. (National Service Scheme) unit of CET, Trikaripur organizes a main camp (7 days) and also undertakes social service campaigns like Blood Donation Campaigns, and conducts survey regarding health and financial conditions of the people living there.
The College of Engineering Trikaripur provides students with a great Infrastructure with latest facilities in the field of education. The college campus is entirely Wi-Fi enabled, and the seminar halls and class-rooms use projectors for audio-visual aid. Institute has separate hostel facility for boys and girls, and transport facility is available for Day-scholars. College of Engineering Trikaripur provides students with rich extracurricular activities. The Institute organizes events as a platform for students to exhibit their skills. College also motivates students to participate in sports and organizes inter university sports events.
The Campus has all facilities included grounds for Cricket, Hockey and Football, Courts for Badminton, Volleyball and Lawn tennis, a gymnasium with latest equipments. The Institute organizes many guest lectures and industrial visits for students to have a better knowledge of the field. College of Engineering Trikaripur gives an extended training to its students for placement cell and has an impressive placement record, and has collaborated with many companies for campus recruitment.
