American University of Culture and Education

Founded in 1983 by Dr. Amjad Naboulsi, C&E College (Computer and Educational College of Hotel Management and Technical Studies)-Beirut - Makassed Center, was a higher learning institution in Lebanon. on August 7, 2000 when the C & E American University Institute received its license from the government under Presidential Decree to offer graduate and undergraduate programs. Further acknowledgement of their efforts came on March 12, 2004 when C&E AUI's degree programs were officially recognized and granted equivalency by the Lebanese Ministry of Education & Higher Education. On 17 of June 2009, the Lebanese Ministry of Education & Higher Education granted the authorization to transform C&E AUI to the American University of Culture & Education – AUCE. The University offers various courses on under-graduate and graduate levels in following faculties-
• Faculty of Arts and Science
• Faculty of Business
• Faculty of Fine Arts
• International Hospitality Academy
The Faculty of Business Administration at AUCE offers a carefully structured Bachelor's Degree program, designed to give students the skills and knowledge base. The mission of the Faculty of Science & Literature at AUCE is to provide outstanding education to its undergraduate and graduate students in accordance with the principles of the AUCE mission.
The faculty of Science and Literature has two departments: Computer Science department & Literature department. AUCE students are encouraged to get involved in activities and events both inside & outside the classroom as both can provide meaningful learning experiences. American University of Culture & Education organize a wide range of extracurricular events and activities that are student-initiated and university supported. Students can organize their own events and activities through the university clubs network. Clubs are assisted in organizing events and activities by the Office of Student Affairs and the Sports Department.
