The D. Banumaiah’s College of Commerce & Arts has been one of the prominent educational institutions of Mysore, catering qualitative higher education to a large populace of the city for the last six and a half decades. The college offers First year journalism course (Arts / Commerce), Bachelor Of Commerce, Bachelor Of Arts, Bachelor Of Commerce in Accounts and Finance, Bachelor Of Commerce in Banking and Insurance, Bachelor Of Commerce in Financial Markets, Bachelor in Management Studies, Bachelor in Mass Media, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Master of Commerce (Accountancy), Master of Commerce (Managenent), Certificate Course in Retail Marketing, Certificate Course in Indirect Taxes, Diploma in Tax Procedure & Practice, Diploma in Tourism & Travel Management, Diploma in Computer Applications, Diploma in Event Management, Certificate Course in Business English Skills, Foundation Course in Yoga course.
In D. Banumaiah’s College of Commerce & Arts, Class-rooms are equipped with remote controlled LCD multimedia projectors and internet networked computer and public address system with cordless microphones. The Institute manages separate hostel facility for boys and girls with latest facilities. The College is aiming to achieve 100% placement this academic year. It has tied up with several public sector and Multinational Companies. Students are trained well in sports and games.
There is one separate sports wing to train students on different sporting aspects. A well qualified, dynamic Physical Director trains the students in both indoor and outdoor games. Professional grade facilities are provided for the following Indoor and Outdoor games. The college Management expressed its interest in further expansion of the facility for the benefit of both faculty and students, who would like to expose themselves to thrust areas and enrich their knowledge in the respective areas of Engineering. Additionally placement camps are organized for final year students.
