The Clubs of AEC

Asansol Engineering College is known for outstanding academics, but it also believe in nurturing other talents and skills that the students might possess. Keeping this idea in mind, AEC has a few clubs which help to bring out the creative side of the students.
One such club is the Photography Club. This is a joint venture by the students and the faculty. This is a great platform for the students of AEC to showcase their photograpghy skills. The Asansol Engineering College Photo Club is affiliated to FIP which is the National Body for Photograpghy in India. There is an annual national photograpghy contest also organised by AEC called Flikarazze. Some activities to be held in this contest are exhibitions, workshpops, photograpghy tours, etc.
Another club of this reputed college is SCIWIZ Science Club. This club was formed in the year 2005 and was first initiated by enthusiastic students in the hope of starting a brand new culture of scientific thinking and research activities. This club organises various activities such as paper presentations, science quizzes, wall magazines and other activities all related to science. This club has been a huge success and has been growin gin number ever since its inception.
Such clubs are stimulus for the students to tread outside of academics and really think creatively. Such a thought process is what sets successful individuals from the rest in the real world.
